Bench-built

Our Amish furniture is bench-built which means it is only made when you order it. Our Amish partners are true craftsmen who only stock American solid woods. Your furniture (and the pieces in our showroom) are not mass-produced. They are handcrafted only when ordered which gives our customers the ability to customize almost every feature including size. Whether you’re looking for dining, bedroom, home office, living room, kitchen, storage, or entertainment furniture, we can help you. Don’t settle for “just OK” when you can get “just right!”

Choose your Wood

Beautiful furniture starts with beautiful solid wood. Amish furniture will never use MDF or particleboard. Solid wood choices include oak, maple, cherry, elm, hickory, walnut and quarter-sawn white oak.

Choose your Finish

Amish finishes are hand-rubbed, pre-catalyzed varnishes to make the surfaces lustrous as well as tough, resisting any damage from water spills. Over 75 finishes available.

Choose your Hardware

Your furniture should reflect your personal style. From traditional to contemporary to urban to farmhouse chic, choose from over 400 pieces.

First, choose the table style you like the most. Traditional? Rustic? Farmhouse? Formal? Contemporary? Mid-Century Modern?

Second, choose the American solid wood you love the best. Red oak? Brown maple? Cherry? Quarter-sawn white oak? Hickory? Elm? Walnut?

Third, decide the shape you want for the table top. Rectangular? Square? Oval? Round?

Will you need leaves to expand your table surface?

Next, decide on the edges. Live-edge? Bull-nose? Bevel?

Then, choose your table’s support. Legs? Pedestal (single or double)? Trestle?

Tell us the exact size you want or need for your dining space. Tables can be sized to the quarter-inch.

Don’t forget seating! Which chair styles do you like? Arm chairs? Side chairs? Benches? Chairs with lumbar support? Put any chair or bench with any table.

Finally, choose your finish. Or choose two. We offer over 75 different finishes which are hand-rubbed in the solid-wood pieces that were handcrafted just for you!
